Fireworks & Bonfire Night at Preston Grasshoppers

Date: 28 September 2017

Preston’s biggest bonfire and fireworks display returns to Preston Grasshoppers after being cancelled last year due to construction work at the club.

The long running event has provided the main Guy Fawkes night attraction in the Preston area for years, and General Manager, Richard Ellis, has promised that the event will be bigger and better than ever before:

‘We were really disappointed to have to cancel the event last year due to the installation of our state of the art artificial grass pitch, however, we’re pleased to announce the return of one of our flagship events that provides a great night of entertainment for all.

As well as the traditional bonfire display and fairground rides, we are back this year with our biggest fireworks bonanza ever, and we will also be putting on extra entertainment throughout the evening. The bar will be open with great food available also, and I’d highly recommend purchasing your tickets online to avoid disappointment.’

In the past, families have had to be turned away on the door as the venue reached capacity, so it’s highly recommended that tickets are bought online, in advance, to guarantee entry and avoid disappointment. There will be a limited amount of tickets on the gate.

Individual tickets cost £5.50, and a family ticket (x2 adults, x2 children) is £16.50. Tickets can be bought online on Skiddle by CLICKING HERE.

The gates open at 6pm, with the bonfire being lit at 7pm before the fireworks display at 8pm. There is very limited car parking on site and traffic in the area is expected to be heavy, so the club’s advice is to use public transport or park a short distance away and walk to the club.
