The Under 7’s had 4 teams entered in this years Festival, plus, as a bonus, a team from the Under 6’s was also entered.
The Under 6’s had a terrific introduction to what’s in store for them next season, getting to the Semi-Finals of the 4th place Bowl trophy where they faced the Under 7 Hoppers White team who proved to be too strong. This meant that Hoppers had two teams playing in the Bowl final which turned out to be a brilliant game. Hoppers Green narrowly beating Hoppers White 11-10. Great support and attacking rugby displayed by both teams.
Our third team, Fireflies Green achieved the fastest time over the assault course, well done to all of you. This was a great distraction for all teams during the long day. We’re still looking for your missing tags!
Our fourth team Fireflies White, also had a fantastic day making it all the way to the Cup final against Wigan. It was a hard fought and tense game finishing in a draw 7-7. Both sides defended and attacked with equal precision. The Winners Cup was shared between both teams.
