A long trip for the boys this morning, with a first trip to Northwich to play Winnington Park. The setup at the club was fantastic with everything clearly laid out.
We played a total of four games and had a mixed bag of results and performances. The first two games passed by with two evenly matched and well played out draws. There were some really good passages of play, with some excellent rucking and passing and once again the communication between the boys is improving every week. The last two games were as different as chalk and cheese with an impressive win for one set of boys and a heavy defeat for the others. Unfortunately in the defeat the boys went a couple of tries down and heads went down and it became very difficult to get then back up again.
All told all boys put in all the effort they could and all were puffing when they came off the pitch, which is all we can ask of them.
