Saturday 18th April.
The U7s played the touring U7s from Caldy. With the distraction of the Family Day festivities put to one side for a short time we managed put out three teams against Caldy and each faired really well. The Caldy teams were strong and well organised defensively which was a good challenge for us and brought out some great passing play from our players. Coming toward the end of the season we saw some of our best individual and team performances which is a brilliant return on a long season of training.
Sunday 19th April.
Two sets of games in two days for the U7s this time against Burnley. Burnley brought along three teams against our five and some of the finest play was when Hopper played Hopper! Another day of strong performances and our teams demonstrated good all round play. We saw some excellent communication in defence and great tagging. Whilst in attack there were some stand out performances and lots of tries scored.
On both days we were well supported by players, parents and coaches. Special thanks again to those players who were happy to lend a hand to the visiting sides.
