PGRFC is delighted to welcome Fraser Stanier to the squad for the 2022/23 season.
Comfortable across the three quarter line, Fraser will follow in the footsteps of his father Richard, who represented PGRFC as a winger in the 1990s. A product of AKS, he has represented Lancashire and the North and has previously worked with Assistant Coach Dan Orwin. He has recently graduated from Lancaster University and joins Hoppers ready to compete for a starting shirt in the squad.
Assistant Coach Dan Orwin said “On taking the role with Hoppers I was keen to bring Fraser to Lightfoot Green. I’ve worked with him a lot during his spells in representative rugby and I feel he is someone who can bring a lot to how we want to play the game. He is comfortable in a number of positions, is a good size and has a good skill level about him. I think he will benefit from working with the squad and will be a good addition to the club”.
