Friday Night Lights returns to Lightfoot Green this weekend as the second team face old rivals and current league champions Sedgley Tigers.
Games between the two sides are generally entertaining affairs and of a highly respectable standard. Both teams usually have a say when the silverware is handed out with Young’s men boasting an excellent win record over the last three seasons.
The men from Prestwich meanwhile are exceptionally well drilled and exceedingly hard to beat.
Hoppers field a strong squad with Jack Wilkinson, Olly Yates and Matt Gargett returning to the fold whilst there is a first start of the season for flanker Andy Napier. Luke Clitheroe and Andy Frings also make their competitive debuts, adding competition to the loose forward positions.
