Hoppers have many connections with Harrison Drury and we caught up with ex 1st XV captain and managing partner of Harrison Drury, John Chesworth, ahead of Saturday to ask him a few questions.

What connections do Harrison Drury have to Preston Grasshoppers?
Connections started when I joined the firm in on 1 January 2007.
Thereafter, George Erdozain, the Club Chairman joined the firm as a
consultant later in 2007. We were then joined in 2009 by Owen McKenna
in March 2009. The firm has sponsored the Hoppers since 2007.
Why are Harrison Drury interested in sponsoring a Hoppers game?
HD have some very strong connections with the Hoppers, as referred to
above and are committed to support the club not only in the success of
the senior teams, but also the continuing success of the mini-junior
section which I joined in 1980 aged 8! The match day hospitality
provides a great opportunity to catch up with our clients and business
contacts in a relaxed environment and helps us build and maintain
valuable relationships.

What would you say to anybody interested in sponsoring a Hoppers
game?
Do it. Hoppers sponsorship is a great way to spend time with your
clients and business contacts, and on past experience you get to see
some great rugby as well.
Finally, your prediction for Saturday’s game?
I am very much hoping for a Hoppers win and looking at the respective
track records of the two teams this season, that should be on the cards.
Hoppers have the fire power to put a lot of points on the board, but
need to patch up a slightly leaky defence. I am going to go for a
Hoppers win 33 – 17.
