Preston Grasshoppers RFC was delighted to welcome Haleys Chartered Accountants as our main match sponsor for the Bromsgrove game last week which saw Hoppers produce a fantastic comeback to win with the last play of the game.

We were delighted to attend last weekend’s Preston Grasshoppers match along with invited guests as match sponsors. Haleys have been sponsors of the club for a number of years, and we couldn’t have picked a more exciting game, when Bromsgrove visited Lightfoot Lane on Saturday.
Our guests joined us in the Leigh Gallery, where we took advantage of the great hospitality on offer at the club. We were joined by our friends from Signature Automotive Ltd, Thomas Consulting Ltd, Harrison Drury & Co, IT Works Recruitment Ltd and City Build, for a fantastic three course lunch of soup, braised lamb, and apple pie before the main event.
Director Tim Haley introduced Michael Lucas, who joined Haleys during the summer as director, and Darren Pilkington, who also joined our team recently, to our existing clients, and also welcomed on board new clients who have remained loyal to both Michael and Darren.
Martin Berry and Toby Rexstraw of City Build had recently been awarded the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Building of the Year Winners for 2012, so that was a great opportunity to celebrate the work that we do in partnership with our clients.
The match couldn’t have been more exciting, with a last minute winning score for Preston, for a final result of 29-26.
