Hoppers 2s get their first taste of the immaculate Hoppers 3g pitch this weekend as we entertain Sale FC 2s in what is surely a mouth watering encounter.

After a very spritied display and comeback last week at a very strong Fylde Hawks team, the boys have put in the hard yards in training and look forward to redemption.
In the front row, Tyler Sloane and Stephen Lightfoot pack down with loanee hooker Ben Calvert from Thornton, who their coach Mark Hanson has kindly agreed to Ben testing himself and helping us out. In the row, last weeks try scorer Joe Hunt partners Marcus Mollinga with the back row showing great versatility with Dom Aspinall, Luke Clitheroe and Luke Proctor looking to cause havoc.
In the backs Rhys Llewellyn starts again at scrunm half with 3s messiah Tom Peterson starting and skippering the team at fly half. the centres see’s Jon irving make his first start for the club and partner the musician and club DJ Olly yates. The back three see’s Adam Woosey start with Matt Gargett and Craig Proctor help us out at fullback. On the bench Andile Kilan looks to make a huge impact along with Sam Tickle and Declan Norrington.
The lads have worked hard in training and considering the injury list and vulnerabilities we have, we have managed to field a very strong team capable of a convincing victory. 12.45 meet at the club and please ensure shirts and ties are worn afterwards.
