Working in collaboration with Rugby365, operators of the AGP, the club has reached an agreement with Blackpool FC for Hoppers to be used as their development squad training facility.
This will see the squad at the club four mornings a week between June and May ’23. Obviously they will be using the AGP but have also booked a meeting room each day for team meetings and match analysis.
Neil Ashton, who has been leading the negotiation on behalf of Hoppers said;
“It’s great news that we can attract elite level sports teams to Hoppers, it reflects well on the fantastic facilities we have developed over the years. It also demonstrates how hosting the AGP provides commercial opportunities to increase revenue as a consequence of the pitch being used for non-rugby activities.
We welcome the players and staff from the Tangerines’ development squad and hope being at the Hoppers helps them prepare for a successful season ahead”.
