Hoppers head to Sheffield this week looking to back up the performance from last week which saw the team pick up a first win of the season over Huddersfield.
They make the trip to a Sheffield side who adapted well to life in National 2 North, picking up victories over Sheffield Tigers and Otley whilst running Chester very close last time out. The only game in which Sheffield have not been competitive was on the opening day when they lost 36-14 at Tynedale.
Looking ahead to the game Hoppers head Coach Joel Unsworth said “After a strong performance this week, the boys have worked hard and confidence is building nicely. We are aiming to put back to back performances together, but Sheffield have started the season in fine fettle and we know that we will have to be at our best to get the win.”
Unsworth has the luxury of naming an almost unchanged side with Will Fryer dropping out of the match day squad to be replaced in the starting XV by Ben Dorrington.
