Hoppers welcome local rivals Fylde to Lightfoot Green this Saturday in what the Met Office are predicted could be a late summer scorcher!
Fylde started their campaign with a home draw against Sheffield Tigers whilst Hoppers won on the road for the first time since the 2021/22 season, scoring 6 tries up at Tynedale. With Fylde well known for their running style and Hoppers coming into the game after a great win this could be set to be an entertaining affair.
Last season saw Fylde put together an excellent campaign winning 21 of their 25 games finishing a close second to promoted Sedgley Park. Top scorer for Fylde was fly-half Greg Smith with 219 points whilst Tom Grimes and Connor Wilkinson were top try scorers with 14 apiece.

Hoppers make one change from the team that started at Tynedale with Ally Murray replacing Josh Longson in the back row. The bench sees Harrison Moulding return to the squad.
