Hoppers players help Lancashire get to Twickenham

Date: 23 May 2017

The County Championship has been in full swing over the last few weeks and a number of Hoppers lads have helped the Lancashire team get to the final at Twickenham this weekend.

Lancashire have seen off Northumberland, Eastern Counties and Cheshire and will be delighted to get back to the final at the home of English rugby after failing to get there last season.

Hoppers fly half Lewis Allen and tight head prop Pete Altham have played key roles in each of Lancashire’s wins, with Ally Murray and Niall Crosley also featuring in the win over Northumberland.

The team will face Cornwall at Twickenham this weekend and we hope to see some Hoppers lads feature in a win for the Red Rose County.

Hoppers ladies Becky Ingham and Emily Stirzaker have also pulled on the red and white hoops and the women’s side have reached the final of the County Championship which will be played at Richmond this weekend.

Good luck to all involved!
