Hoppers prominent in Lancashire win

Date: 06 May 2012

4 Hoppers players had a big impact on their Lancashire debuts as the red rose county beat Northumberland 42-34. Both Dominic Moon and Richard Morton started the game and were impressive throughout. Morton gave the Lancashire pack a good platform with a strong scrummaging performance until he was substituted just before half time. Moon lead from the front in his normal manner, providing some good yards when carrying.

Substitutes Hughes and Fowles were to have the biggest impact though as both scored in the last 10 minutes to give Lancashire the victory in an entertaining game. The report from the Lancashire RFU website can be viewed here.
