Saturday sees the Hoppers Rollers celebrate the end of the cycling season with a morning ride prior to enjoying lunch and then watching the 1st XV play Hinckley.
Hoppers Rollers are the social arm of the cycling club. Riders meet at the rugby club for regular club rides at 6.30pm on Wednesday evenings and 8.30am, new riders are always welcome. The club also organise an overseas trip with 23 cyclists enjoying the challenge of the northern hills of Majorca back in May.
As well as riding socially the Hoppers Rollers also take part in competitive cycling under the guise of Team Hoppers Rollers Racing (THR Racing). Due primarily to the exploits of Ricky Haughton and Steve Abbott the team have finished the 33rd Ranked national team!
