Hoppers Supporters Evening – Thursday 27th February
On Thursday February 27th 7.30pm in the Wainwright Bar you are invited to a ‘Hoppers supporter’s evening for a Q and A session with some of the first team management and playing staff.
Director of Rugby Gareth Dyer and Performance Analyst Matt Coleridge will explain the format and systems in place and also present an analysis of the last game played, talking through the key aspects of the match. There will also be an insight into the squad’s preparation for the next game and the detail that goes into each game. Gareth and Matt will be joined by a first team squad member with all three participating in a question and answer session throughout the evening.
Gareth Dyer said “This is a great opportunity to interact with the supporters and provide them with a clearer idea of what preparation goes on during the week in the lead up to games. The game has changed massively at this level in terms of what goes into the preparation and development of a National League side and I’m sure the supporters will learn a lot more about what we do from attending on the night. All three of us will be available to answer questions on any rugby related topics and hopefully there will be a good turnout and some thought provoking questions. If there is anything the supporters want to know or ask about then please come down on the night and ask away. We are always aware of our responsibility to the clubs supporters and members and I hope to see as many of you as possible on 27th February”.
The Director of Rugby will also provide his thoughts on the current shape the club finds itself in and what the plans and ambitions are on the pitch going forward.
‘Hoppers 1st XV squad members, having completed training, will join you in the bar for a informal chat with the supporters on all things Hoppers, rugby and this season. Free food will be available and we hope you can join us on the evening.
