For a third year in a row, Hoppers won an award at the annual Preston Sports Awards on Friday evening.
The event was held at the Guild Hall and attended by over 400 people from across the various sports clubs and organisations in Preston, all competing for one of 17 awards available on the night.
Hoppers Under 15s team were shortlisted in the Junior Team performance of the year category and walked off with the trophy after an unbeaten year and winning the Blacksticks Blue Lancashire Cup last May. Congratulations to everyone involved with the U15s who continue to be the team to beat in Lancashire and have reached their 3rd consecutive Lancashire Cup final.
In addition, Kieran Wilkinson was ‘Highly Commended’ in the category of junior Male performance/Achievement of the year. Kieran, a member of the Hoppers Under 15s team, has represented Lancashire for the last 2 seasons and was selected for the North of England U16s squad and played in the recent game against the South West. Congratulations to Kieran on his achievements and good luck with the remaining North of England games.
