Preston Grasshoppers RFC are delighted to be the first Northern RFU club to be hosts to the England Counties XV when they face the Ulster Bank Irish Clubs XV at PGRFC on Friday 16th March 2012 (Kick off 7.30pm – Gates & Bars open at 5pm).
That’s right a high quality England vs. Ireland game to be played at Lightfoot Green at the start of the St. Patrick’s weekend celebrations and the club wants you to be part of it!!!
Ticket prices are just £10 for adults/£5 concessions (OAPS/Students) whilst under 16’s will be admitted free of charge if accompanied by an adult (Please note that proof of age may be requested). Adult tickets can be purchased in advance whilst both Adult & Concession tickets can be bought at the gate on the day of the game.
The club is also offering a limited number of hospitality tickets for the game. For just £20 you can enjoy an excellent three course pre-match meal at the club prepared by our superb in-house chef. Please note that this price also includes your match ticket representing excellent value for money. We are also able to provide tables for ten persons at a cost of £200 so why not get a group of friends, family, team mates or work mates together and make an evening of it??
With this being the night before St. Patrick’s Day we will be providing appropriately themed entertainment with outdoor bars and hot food also available before, during and after the game whilst an outdoor Guinness bar will be distributing their unique brand of novelty St. Patrick’s Day merchandise. To help us promote the game please find attached a match poster that can be printed for display at your place of work, school or any other prominent location. Larger copies are available from the club so please contact the office for details or call in at the club to collect your copy.
Please note that every £10 adult ticket purchased for the England Counties fixture, the holder will be entitled to entry to the following weekend’s Preston Grasshoppers 1st XV vs. Stockport National Two North fixture for just £5! Just keep your England match ticket and bring it with you to Lightfoot Green on Saturday 24th March to gain reduced price admission (kick off 2.30pm).
(The pre-match meal will be a 5.45pm sitting for a 6pm serving. Please note that hospitality tickets will not be available for purchase on the day of the match and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Demand is expected to be high so book early to confirm your place and avoid disappointment).
