This Sunday sees 4 Hoppers junior sides in cup-final action!
U13’s and U15’s
The U13’s and U15’s are in Lancashire Cup Final action on Sunday at Southport Rugby Club. Fylde are the opponents for the U13’s with an 11.00am kick off. The Under 15’s must overcome Manchester if they are to be crowned champions in a 1.30pm kick off.
If Hoppers can bring home a Junior Lancashire Cup it will be the 7th straight year that a Hoppers junior side has managed to do so. Since the inception of Lancashire Cup Finals for U13-16 age groups in 1989 Preston Grasshoppers RFC is the most successful club, amassing 20 victories in the last 24 years. Let’s hope that Sunday sees this total rise to 22!
Junior & Senior Colts
The Junior Colts play Crewe & Nantwich in the ‘Raging Bull Junior Colts Plate Final’ at 12 noon at Eccles RUFC. Sunday also sees the Senior Colts travel to Sandbach RUFC to take on an unbeaten Lymm side in the ‘Raging Bull Colts Senior Cup Final’. Kick off is at 4.30pm. Admission at both venues is £5 for adults, £2 for U16’s/concessions and U11’s are free of charge.
