Jayden Wright and Eric Taylor are setting off from Sale Shark’s AJ Bell Stadium and making their way across approximately 40 miles to Preston Grasshoppers Lightfoot Lane on Sunday 20th August.
They are raising money for Place 2 Be, a Children’s Mental Health Charity who work closely with Sale Sharks.
The lads have been at Preston now for 4 seasons and have had a successful time so far and hope for it to continue for many seasons to come.
Aside from rugby, the boys are best of friends.
They met at nursery and now attend the same primary school.
They used to play in the same football team and have also spent several family holidays together.
The boys have a fantastic approach to life, and apply a great professionalism and maturity to everything they take on. Every day, they make their parents and family members incredibly proud.
We truly couldn’t be prouder of what Jayden and Eric are undertaking for this incredible charity. The boys are a credit to Preston Grasshoppers and a fine example of what rugby players and rugby traditions.
