Kieran Flynn

Date: 18 September 2013

Preston Grasshoppers RFC would like to extend our thoughts and well wishes to Kieran Flynn of Crewe & Nantwich RUFC.

During the course of a pre-season friendly between Crewe & Nantwich RUFC and Christleton RUFC Kieran was seriously injured when making a tackle on a member of the Christleton side and has sadly broken his neck.

As a result of this tragic incident he has, hopefully temporarily, lost use of his lower limbs, although his arms and finger grip are getting stronger on a daily basis. On a positive note he does have some tingling sensations in his legs, which we can only see as a positive.

He is in good hands and is currently in hospital in Oswestry a hospital famed for its specialisation in Orthopaedics.

Please can any players, supporters and friends of the club along with other local clubs in our league join us in wishing Kieran all the best and a rapid recovery. If you would like to contact him directly to let him know that the rugby community is thinking of him, his email is Flynny_lfc@hotmail.com and his twitter account is @KieFlynn.

All the best Kieran from everyone at Preston Grasshoppers.
