PGRFC is delighted to add Kiwi Full Back/Wing Brad Cave to its squad for the 2018/19 season.
A native of Auckland, Brad comes to Lightfoot Green after a successful period playing for Waterloo.
Qualifying through an ancestry visa, Brad is qualified to play National League rugby and wants to test himself at a higher level.
In New Zealand Brad played Rugby League for Te Atatu Rooster and the New Zealand Army. He has settled in quick to life at Lightfoot Green and is ready for the season ahead.
Speaking on his move Brad said “The coaching staff and players have all been very welcoming and I am looking forward to joining a quality squad of players in what is going to be a very competitive league. Training has been good and I will be pushing hard to try and force my way into the starting 20”.
Head Coach Paul Arnold said “Brad has been impressive in pre-season and we think he will add something to our outside backs. It was an area where we felt we needed more competition to bring out the best of the guys in that area. With Brad and Matt Crow joining plus having Scott, Tyler and Connor already at the club, competition of places is going to be hot”.
