The Ladies travel to Douglas to face the Vagabonds this weekend

After a week off with no fixture, Hoppers ladies now make the trip over the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man to face the Vagabonds of Douglas, who sit 4th in the league with 1 game in hand.

With more players now fully recovered and back to full strength, a very strong squad is available to make the much anticipated journey. After 5 tough games, with 4 wins and 1 loss, the Ladies plan to continue the winning run on the road for the first time this season. With injuries still keeping players off the trip, the return of Charley Brunton, Natasha Rose, Dawn Jones, Sophie Williamson, Michelle Christy and Captain Kady Hall, Hoppers have bolstered an already winning side.

The Vagabonds have proven strong opponents in the past and the girls know that they will need to be at their very best to come away with the spoils and everyone in the 22 strong travelling squad has an improved focus to get the job done.

The squad travels over on Saturday morning from Liverpool with the kick off planned for 1.30 that afternoon, returning to Lightfoot lane on Sunday.

The Ladies would like to thank everyone, from all sections within the club for their continued support and good luck messages so far this season. The numbers coming to watch the home games has been increasing week in week out. It’s been really uplifting and it’s appreciated greatly.

Good luck to all our teams this weekend. Up the Hoppers!
