What is your prediction ahead of the game against Caldy on Saturday?
Caldy are a strong mid- table team so the game could be fairly tight, in particular as games over the last few weeks have been very close considering Hoppers were clear favourites to win games they’ve play against opposition from lower down the table. We are predicting a close game but are confident that Hoppers will triumph and we are delighted the sponsor the day.

We have been guests of sponsors in the past and have enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere with good food and a drink in your hand when you watch the match.
What connections do Thornber & Walker have to Preston Grasshoppers?
Our most recent link with Hoppers was to Project Manage the resurfacing of the overspill car park 12 months ago. One of my first memories was playing in a schools 7-a-side tournament when the ground was in Lea. Other links include once employing former player Ian Ashton as a trainee QS and one of our now retired directors, John Dobson used to play for Hoppers and his son Rob still does.
What services do T & W offer?
T&W are Chartered Quantity Surveyors and started up in Preston over 40 years ago. We provide Project Management and QS services on a variety of construction projects. Locally our clients include UCLAN, Myerscough College and British Aerospace. We work closely with architects and engineers and we are using our sponsorship to entertain Preston architects Cassidy & Ashton with whom we have had a close working relationship over many years.
What is your prediction ahead of the game against Caldy on Saturday?
Hoppers seem to have won a number of close high scoring games recently and we are looking forward to more of the same otherwise we might just be in the club house watching England v Australia!
