On Saturday the Main Match sponsor for the 1st XV game with Sandal is one of the Club’s main sponsors, the Marcus Worthington Group who have had a long association with Grasshoppers and were the contractors responsible for the development of the extended Dooley Suite and addition of the Wiseman Room in 1991.
Established over the last three decades as a leading contractor in commercial construction,
the Company has an exemplary reputation for standards of excellence. The group comprises
four elements – Properties, Construction, Investment and a residential arm, Hollinwood Homes.
Heading up the party is the eponymous Marcus Worthington who is the chief executive of
the Group, having originally founded the company in 1975. Keeping it in the family, sons
Giles, Russell and Simeon, who are all directors of the company, will also be in attendance.
