England Counties match day information and team news

Date: 15 March 2012

The day has finally arrived where England Counties take on Irish Clubs at Lightfoot Green. The game kicks off at 7.30pm with gates and bars opening at 5pm. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for OAP’s/students. Under 16’s accompanied by an adult are free. Anybody who reproduces their ticket stub at the following Saturday’s 1st XV fixture against Stockport will be entitled to reduced admission of £5.

As well as our normal indoor bar we are running a covered outside bar in front of the clubhouse and a refreshment stall next to the stand. Food will be available from catering vans locating around the pitch.

The 3 course pre-match meal will be seated from 5.45pm in the clubhouse with food being served at 6pm. There are still some places available to eat so if you’re interested please give the club a ring to book ahead. The meal is priced at £20 and also covers the cost of admission and a programme.

Hoppers are proud to have secured the services of the Red Rose Brass Band who will be performing from 6.30pm in the lead up to kick off. Why not come down and enjoy a drink whilst listening to some music?

The game itself kicks off at 7.30pm with national anthems being played just before kick off. We hope to see you at Lightfoot Green this evening to enjoy what we hope will be a display of exciting rugby.
