As the summer progresses many of you will have one eye on membership renewal, whether that be rugby, VP, social, squash, shooting, archery or other membership types we have available.
I’m sure you are all well aware that the past year has seen a significant increase in costs across many areas of the economy, unfortunately Hoppers is not immune to that.
Consequently, we have been forced to review and reconsider costs across the club, including membership fees. I recognise that some fees have increased in recent years, but we must look again I’m afraid.
That process is ongoing and we should be in a position to announce membership renewal fees on or about 1st July.
We are also introducing a new payment system for senior Rugby playing memberships. This will use the SPOND platform, already being used by all teams to coordinate training and selection. We will enable the payment facility in the app and send payment requests to all registered players to whom fees apply. This should be a lot more streamlined and easier to manage from an admin perspective.
