Mini Junior Food Bank Collection

Hoppers Mini/Juniors are launching a Food Bank Collection in support of the Salvation Army starting on 12th December.

This campaign will hope to emulate the previous extremely successful collections earlier in the year, all in support of the our local Salvation Army Food Bank, and we are calling on the Hoppers youngsters and their families are to responding to an urgent appeal to replenish food bank stocks in the lead up to Christmas.

You are invited to bring a selection of the following items to the club on Sunday 12th December, and is extended to everyone associated with Hoppers and the surrounding community.

  • Tinned vegetables – eg potatoes, baked beans and sweet corn
  • Tinned fruit
  • Packets of dried pasta – plus pasta sauces
  • Tinned meats – eg ham, tuna
  • Long life milk
  • Part baked bread
  • Breakfast cereals
  • Kitchen roll
  • Washing powder/capsules
  • Hand sanitising gel

The hut, on the rear car park, will be open from 9am to 2pm on Sunday 12th December 2021 to accept donations.
