The Minis hosted Kendal this weekend and some of the Junior teams were also in action.
There was a great turnout once again for the Under 6s, still welcoming new players and developing skills with a view to next season where they will start playing teams from other clubs.
Hoppers U7s welcomed 8 players from Kendal. Great Fun was had by all. Both teams warmed up together, Kendal and Hoppers teams united. Lots of skill on show and new friends made.
At lunch time, the Under 7s joined the Under 6s for a christmas celebration in the clubhouse which was enjoyed by all. Children were presented with a rugby ball and selection box each and the parents took the opportunity to thank the coaches for the great commitment they give to the club.
Another great turnout for the Under 8s on Sunday. Despite the cold wind, the players enjoyed the matches with Kendal showing great changes of speed in attack with great support play.
The Under 15s made the trip over to Sedgley Park on Sunday. Hoppers running out winners 36-14 in a competitive match.
