The weather caused major headaches this weekend and led to Vale of Lune postponing the first day of their annual rugby festival. The AGP again proved its worth with us being able to host Minis teams from Tarleton and Tyldesley and with a little last minute reorganising managed to get rugby on for many age groups.
The Under 7s hosted Tarleton and Tyldsley on the AGP. Despite the rain, which had resulted in the cancellation of the Vale of Lune festival, everyone had lots of fun. Playing three games simultaneously and rotating every 20 mins, Hoppers built on their training, all players showed a new level of team working in both defence and attack. Under 7s player of the week award went to Oliver Pagnillo.
The Under 8s got off to a slow start against Tarleton and Tyldesley in the early poor conditions, but once warmed up started to attack and support each-other well. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
