The Minis travelled to a cold and windy Kirkby Lonsdale this weekend.
The Under 7s had four matches with a great turn out from both sides. The results were evenly balanced. The skills and game play is getting better each match that Hoppers play, with more and more individuals scoring tries and tagging well, despite the cold.
The Under 12s put in a great all round team effort winning both games, a 35-21 win followed by a 21-14 win.
The Under 13s had a good home win 42*-12 over Bolton, whose fantastic approach and attitude to the game made for a wonderful morning of rugby. Hoppers were able to control the match despite the gutsy perfomance by Bolton.
The Under 15s overcame a fired up Warrington side 22-10, Hoppers fell behind conceeding 2 tries but were able to turn the game around scoring 4 well worked tries of their own, pick of the bunch by Crookes-Bowers after fantastic work and offload by Stainton.
The Junior Colts U17s Lancashire Cup match away at Blackburn was postponed due to unfit pitches, a new date has yet to be fixed. The Senior Colts were not in action this weekend.
