The Minis entertained Warrington this weekend.
The Junior teams were in Blackstick Blue (Lancashire) Cup Round 4 action this weekend. the Under 13s had a good win away at Sedgley Park 34-5, Hoppers were expecting a hard game but a strong first half performance gave Hoppers a 29-0 half-time lead, 2nd row Josh Fowler taking the MoM plaudits. The Under 14s travelled to Eccles and won 56*-26 in a hard-fought, but free-scoring game. The Under 15s came through a tough battle with a fiercely competitive Blackburn side 15-10 at home, the tension was maintained right to the end. The Under 16s beat Warrington at home 35-5 which included a delay of about an hour during the game because of an injury to a Warrington player, thankfully we have now heard he is ok.
In the Raging Bull Colts leagues, the Junior Colts went down 47-7 away to Sefton, while the Senior Colts beat Altrincham Kersal 34-3 at home.
