The Under 11s and 12s had Lancashire Minis Festival Cup qualifying matches this weekend, unfortunately the Under 11s games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches at Vale of Lune, however, the Under 12s came away from Fylde with two wins; a walk over victory against Tarleton and a satisfying 19-0 win over hosts Fylde.
The Under 14s had a good win away against a competitive Liverpool Collegiate side 34-5 allowing all squad members game time, an excellent performance from Ross this weekend.
The Under 16s impressed with a gutsy and professional second half performance to come back and win 22-5 away at Wharfedale.
Junior Colts were beaten 17-5 away at Wirral, it has been a tough season but a home victory against Fylde in 3 weeks time could end the season on a high.
Senior Colts were awarded a walkover win against Wirral that leaves them still at the top of the league with an away fixture at second place Chester to come. Warrington, currently in third, have the edge with a game in hand to draw level and a better points difference than Hoppers.
