The Minis were all in action at Sedgley Park this weekend.
The Under 9s left Sedgley with honours even, there was nothing to choose between the two sides after four end to end games. The Under 10s fielded two sides, Hoppers winning and Fireflies losing narrowly, the efforts of all players were appreciated by Coaches and Parents. The Under 11s played two games and won them both with great team performances. The U12s gave their best display of the season so far to run out comfortable winners and build confidence for the up coming cup campaign.
The four Junior teams also faced Sedgley Park, with all four managing a win this weekend, the U13’s had a narrow victory in a hard fought game at home to Sedgley winning by the odd try, Hoppers were generally on top but loose tackling kept Sedgley in the game. The U14s overpowered a game Sedgley team to run out 36-5 winners also at home, the U15s also had a good 29-7 home win but were pushed all the way, while the U16s won 12-0 away even without the leadership of Chris Johnson (thanks to Tim Jaques for standing in!)
Only the Junior Colts were in action this weekend, and they had a good 33-15 home win to Wirral. The Senior Colts had a welcome weekend off.
