All four Junior teams had away games in Round 2 of the Blackstick’s Blue (Lancashire) Cup this weekend.
The Under 13s opened their first ever Cup campaign away at Ashton Under Lyne. In a close game, ultimately decided by the kickers, Hoppers won 24-22.
The Under 14s had a comfortable win 30*-0 away at Fleetwood who competed well in the scrum but couldn’t match Hoppers in any other department.
The Under 15s had their second win of the competition with a good 33-10 win at Rochdale.
The Under 16s had a fantastic 33*-3 win at fierce local rivals Fylde following on from their opening day win against Manchester putting them in a good position in the Pool.
