The astonishing machine that is the Club’s Mini-Junior section swept the board at the Lancashire RFU Mini Festival Cup finals day. Both the Under 11s and Under 12s won their respective groups and went on to lift both cups in the finals. The Under 12s, only conceded 5 points all day beat Leigh 21-0 in the final. They now have top seeding in the Lancashire Cup next season when they progress to junior rugby. The Under 11s had some closer hard fought games through the group and play off stage but took the final 14-0 against Waterloo.

The junior section will look to emulate the minis with two of the four teams reaching the Blacksticks Blue Lancashire Cup finals on the 29th April. The Under 15s have a repeat of last year’s epic final when they take on Manchester. Trafford MV provide the opposition for the Under 14s. Both matches are at Vale of Lune RUFC, the under 14s kick off at 12.15 followed by the Under 15s at 1.30pm. The juniors would like as much support as possible, so please make your way to Vale and support the lads.
