Work is progressing well on the Pitch Improvement Programme.
The whole Minis area has now been rotovated and levelled, then bolstered by the application of over 2000 tons of topsoil (ex First team pitch) to increase soil depth to improve growth and drainage.
With the extension of the pipeline drainage system, the contractors are now entering the final stages of preparatio. The ‘stone burier’ has been hard at work, prior to gravel banding and rolling ahead of the final re-seeding.
The Mini Junior pitches have never been so level – or appeared so vast!
