Hoppers became the first club to collect both trophies on offer at the Lancashire Minis Festival Cup finals at Wigan RUFC on Sunday. The competition has been running for 6 years now and this is the first time that one club has swept the board on finals day.
The Under 11s qualified top of their group winning all three of their games in the morning and defeated Broughton Park in the Semi final and went on to beat Waterloo in the final.
The Under 12s made it a Hoppers clean sweep winning all three of their games in the morning, then beating local rivals Vale of Lune in the semi and Leigh in the final. The win also saw the Under 12s win the trophy for the second year running having won last years finals at Under 11s.
The Under 11s and Under 12s were presented their winners medals and trophies by Lancashire RFU officials after a great days rugby in the sun.
