More call ups for Hoppers old and new

Hoppers are pleased to announce that former Hoppers Will Bordill and Tommy Bell have been called up to the Scotland U20 and England U20 squads ahead of the IRB Junior World Championship this summer in South Africa.

Will featured earlier this season making 9 appearances for the club in addition to 13 appearances last season. He aslo recently made his Premiership debut for Sale Sharks at the weekend. He will be hoping Scotland can go far in South Africa.

Tommy Bell was with Hoppers last season before spending this season on loan at Leeds from Sale. In Tommy’s 11 appearances in a Hoppers shirt he showed his impressive kicking ability by racking up 62 points. He also made his Sale debut in the same game as Will.

In other news Sean Long made his Barbarians debut on Wednesday night against Loughborough Students. Sean played in a position new to him in Rugby Union by lining up at 12. Despite this Sean managed a try and was also handed the man of the match award by ‘Loughborough Students Union TV’.
