The final of the Boddington’s Challenge Cup, postponed due to rain last Sunday, duly took place at Whittingham last Sunday, 19th June and Hoppers claimed the trophy for the second time, the last as long ago as 1995.

With pre-season now underway, Hoppers are leaving no stone unturned as they seek to improve on last season’s playing performance. Last night saw a highly enjoyable session with well known Sports Psychologist Damian Hughes who put the squad and coaches through their paces with regards to improving communication and thought processes for the season ahead.
