No Ego Mud Challenge

Date: 13 May 2014

Saturday saw a collection of lads from Preston Grasshoppers take part in the No Ego Mud challenge to raise money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation. The No Ego Challenge involved a 10k trek across tough, muddy terrain designed to test strength, stamina and determination.

As well as the 10k trek the lads had to take on gruelling obstacles and challenges like ‘The Mangle’, ‘Tunnel of Mud’ and ‘Getting Tyred’.

The club is grateful to Ian Jillings who was at the event to support his wife but managed to get some snaps of our lads.

If you would like to donate to this great cause please visit http://www.justgiving.com/Chris-Ringrose or text PGRC99 followed by a cash amount to 70070 to donate, e.g. to donate £3 text ‘PGRC99 £3’ to 70070.

A huge well done goes to Luis Dunne, Colin Whalley, Mark Chappelhow, Roger Anderton, Andy Horrocks, Tony Charters, Sean Jackson, Harry Foster, Chris Ringrose, Duncan Brown, Alan Jones, Rob Mason, Jake Ellwood and Rob Smith.
