Many of you will have seen the tragic news last week of the death of Charlie Robinson. Charlie was a 5 year old boy from Garstang Rugby Club who battled with a rare brain tumour for much of his life.
Throughout his treatment a fundraising campaign, Thumbs Up For Charlie, aimed to raise funds for treatments not available on the NHS.
Sunday saw the Mini-Junior section undertake a collection in memory of Charlie which will be donated to Brain Tumour Research Care. As always the collection was responded to very generously with £640 raised over the course of the day. This money will be donated to the charity in memory of Charlie.
