As the new season approaches, arrangements are being made to ensure that members can enjoy a good lunch at the club before home games. Victoria and Alan, along with the rest of the catering and bar staff, are looking forward to ensuring that you continue to have an excellent standard of lunch and that members will have a great Saturday at the Club.
All of us will be aware that the cost of living is on the rise, and the Club is in no different a position to all of us. Staffing costs and food prices are rising and to ensure that we are contributing towards the running costs of the Club, the cost of a meal will have to rise to £35 per person and no discount can be given on this price. We appreciate that this is yet another rising cost to each member, but we can assure you that we are doing all we can to keep the costs of the Club at a minimum. It is likely that the cost of a Christmas lunch in December will be £40 but this will become clearer nearer the time.
At each home game, members will always be given the first opportunity to book a lunch. No opposition club members will be allowed to book until nearer the date of the match if there are any vacancies after club members have booked their lunches in advance.
Already many members have been proactive in requesting to book for lunch prior to the Fylde game, and without advertising, it already looks as if this will be a sell out with only sponsors and members in attendance.
