Preston Grasshoppers are pleased to announce the appointment of a new General Manager.
Ben Hedley joined the club on 1st July 2019 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of the hospitality and catering industry.
Originally from Farnborough, Ben went to university in Liverpool, where he has since spent his working life. Prior to joining Preston Grasshoppers, Ben was Head of Hospitality and Catering at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society. This followed a period of two years as General Manager. Prior to the Liverpool Philharmonic, Ben was General Manager for the Revolution Bars Group in Liverpool.
Ben resides in Thornton with his wife Emma and young son and daughters, Oliver, Elsie and Sylvie.
Whilst overseeing the sponsorship opportunity, Ben’s priority will be to grow the conferencing and event business at Preston Grasshoppers, with a specific focus on providing an outstanding customer experience.
Ben looks forward to working closely with Louise Williams, Finance Manager and Sam Hutchinson, Operations Manager in developing our role in the community and ensuring Hoppers becomes the sought after venue for both business and family events.
