On Friday 7th March, Preston City Council Sports Development team will be hosting its 9th annual Sports Award’s night at Preston Guild Hall. Following last year’s success with the second team being awarded Team Performance of the Year, ‘Hoppers has five different nominees shortlisted for awards.
Shortlisted are:
Coach of The Year – Chris Johnson
Achievement/Performance of the Year Senior – Sean Taylor
Special Recognition/Service to Sport – John Powell
Community Organisation of the Year – Preston Grasshoppers RFC
Team Performance of the Year – Junior – Preston Grasshoppers Under 16
Special guest presenting the awards is former star of British Athletics Jason Gardner. If you would like to attend tickets cost £22.50 each (normal surcharges apply).
