Victory for the first team at Alnwick coupled with defeat for Blackburn at Lymm has confirmed promotion for Hoppers with 2 matches of the season still left to play.
Congratulations to all the players in the squad, to Arnie and his coaching and support team and to Director of Rugby, Gareth Dyer. It has been a long season with the odd hiccup but the aim was always to win promotion back to the National Leagues and that has been achieved.
Well done to all concerned including those members who have supported the team both home and away.
At the same time, let’s not forget the Women’s team and their unbeaten season – a tremendous achievement.
Looks like the Player’s Dinner will be a night to remember!
