Rugby Blueprint Roadshow to visit Hoppers

Date: 11 November 2013

The RFU is holding a series of Roadshows called ‘Rugby Blueprint’. The road show will be travelling across the country to share, discuss and get consensus on the principles of the game from 7 to 18 and how this could look in practice.

The Road Show visits Hoppers on the Thursday 21st November from 7:00pm to 9:30pm – Everyone is welcome to attend the event.

We want to hear in particular from those organisers, coaches, referees, teachers and parents who are at the front of the game each week of the season. We are looking for views on how the New Rules of Play work practically, to propose and get feedback on what competition framework and format best recruits and retains players, and to hear from the game on the challenges and solutions that more players wanting to play will create for the people-resource in our rugby clubs, schools and colleges.

This is your chance to share your thoughts on how we propose to shape the mini, junior and youth game over the next couple of years ready for RWC 2015 and beyond. On the back of this we will finalise a competition framework in early 2014 and make any necessary tweaks to our New Rules of Play, Regulations rollout and people recruitment/training programmes.
