Sesquicentenary Dinner

Date: 20 December 2018

The Club is pleased to announce that the Sesquicentenary Dinner will be held in the clubhouse on Friday 9 August 2019.

The main Speaker will be Dick Greenwood, former Hoppers’ player and coach and also England captain. It is hoped there will also be a number of our former international players attending depending on finalisation of their diary commitments.

The dinner will be black tie or lounge suit and club tie and the intention is to attract as many generations of Hoppers as possible, both ladies and gentlemen for a traditional rugby club dinner to celebrate our 150 years.

It is anticipated that demand for this event will be high and priority is being given to current members and sponsors. Each member and sponsor will be initially limited to one ticket per membership. It is not too late to become a member now and apply for tickets! In the event of over subscription tickets will be allocated on a discretionary basis recognising an individual’s contribution to the Hoppers over the years. In the event that not all tickets are taken up the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for guests will be made in the New Year.

Cost is £40 per head and in order to register for a ticket members need to apply either via the website (fill out the form below) or by email to info@pgrfc.co.uk by Friday 11 January. A non-refundable deposit of £10 per head will be payable on allocation of the tickets.

In order to assist with seating arrangements it would be helpful if you could identify with which particular part of the Club you are associated. e.g. Current Ladies or Gentleman’s Team,1869 Club, Mini Juniors, Strollers etc. or failing that a D.O.B so we can match you with your contemporaries.
