On Saturday Simon ‘Moose’ Mulholland will set his bike up in the clubhouse on rollers and cycle for the duration of the game. He will be running a fundraising competition where entrants have to guess the number of calories he will burn over the course of the game. The winner will receive a limited edition ‘Hoppers Rollers’ Gilet, pictured below. In August ‘Moose’ will be completing an 800km cycle across the Pyrenees mountain range to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. You can read more below the picture.

From the beaches of Hendaye to the beautiful harbour of Collioure, I will cross the Pyrenees through the most varied landscapes. This challenge is also to celebrate turning 40 in May, by travelling across the mythical passes I can prove to myself that life really does begin at 40.
