Saturday 15th September sees the 25th Anniversary of the first Preston Grasshoppers Colt, Pete Carter, to tour with the ‘Strollers’. This started a great tradition which saw the likes of Mike Bailey, Sean & Kirk Wilkinson, Jim & Tom Moore, John Chesworth, Simon ‘Milky’ Evans, Neil Ashton, Gareth Edwards and current 1st XV head coach Mike Lough tour with the Strollers.
The 15th September sees Hoppers 1st XV host Hull Ionians at 2.30pm. The reunion will see as many former Colts who toured and Strollers meeting at noon for aperitifs and lunch before the game and then some singing in the bar afterwards.
